The Regional Virtual Care Clinic (RVCC) provides:
If the virtual provider determines your needs cannot be met through our virtual care options, the RVCC staff will help connect you with a one-time in-person visit in your health neighbourhood hub site.

Point of Interest: The regional Virtual Care Clinic also provides cross coverage for some Western Health position vacancies (short and long term coverage). If your provider/clinic is being supported by RVCC, please continue to call your home clinic to have an appointment arranged.
Virtual Nurse Practitioner services are now available 8am-8pm daily by calling 811 or using the 811 NL Healthline app free through the App Store and Google Play.

We have created a series of videos that will help you familiarize yourself with the different types of virtual care services that are available to you and how they work. We also have patient and provider videos that share the positive experiences they have had while using virtual care.
These videos are intended to increase awareness of options that are available, and to share experiences from the Bay St. George Medical Clinic. Western Health will be expanding some of these options into other clinics throughout the region. Our How To videos are guided with step-by-step verbal and animated instruction on what is needed to attend your health care appointment. They also contain helpful tips and suggestions to ensure you make the most of your healthcare visit.

Patient Testimonials - The patient experience videos showcase three patients sharing their personal experience using the different types of virtual care, their connection with their health care provider, and how the service is simple, easy, safe, and secure. Provider Testimonials - The provider experience videos are based on the experience of two health care providers and how virtual care services allow them to continue to provide the health care needs of their patients. The two Provider Experience Videos feature:
