Western Regional School of Nursing

The Western Regional School of Nursing is owned and operated by Western Health.  The School offers a four year Bachelor of Nursing Program in collaboration with Memorial University School of Nursing and the Centre for Nursing Studies.  The School also offers a two year Fast Track Nursing Degree Option for students with degrees or advance placement status.


The Mission

To contribute to and promote the health and well-being of the Canadian public (particularly the Western Region of NL) and the health system.

Goals

- Graduating safe, ethical and competent nurses committee to the advancement of nursing knowledge and its best practices.

- Conducting leading-edge scholarship/research, particularly in rural and remote communities.

- Working in collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders.
