Community Health Assessment
Western Health started its Community Health Assessment (CHA) process in May 2019 starting with the CHA Survey. The Western Health CHA Survey was used to collect quantitative and qualitative data from residents of the region about where they find health-related information, where they go for care, satisfaction with health care services, community concerns, satisfaction with health and wellness resources, and health behaviors.
The results of the survey are available below in one-page summaries and full reports for the whole region and by primary health care area:
Community Health Needs and Resources Assessment (CHNRA)-2016
In January 2016, Western Health initiated a Community Health Needs and Resources Assessment (CHNRA). The results of this assessment will be used to identify health related issues and resources in our region and to help us plan our programs and services. The components of the CHNRA include a community health survey, focus groups, health status statistics, and community resource listings.
