This is a program that serves the patient on the day that they are admitted for their elective inpatient surgery.
Location: 1st Floor, Western Memorial Regional Hospital, and Main Floor, Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital
The patient will come to SDAS/PAC Unit where they will be prepared for the Operating Room (OR). Following surgery they will go to Recovery Room and then transferred to an inpatient bed.
A waiting room for family members of patients undergoing surgery is located just outside the OR. Family members can access information about patient’s admission/discharge to the Recovery Room by checking with the clerk at the (OR) desk or by dialing the Recovery Room at Western Memorial Regional Hospital 709-637-5000 extension 5326 or Sir Thomas ROddick Hospital at 709-643-5111 ext 218 on the phone just outside the waiting room.
