This program provides assessment, diagnosis and/or treatments for various conditions. Referral by a physician is required for these areas:
CARDIOLOGY
Heart Function Clinic
This new specialty clinic provides patient education and maximizes medical therapy to outpatients with heart failure. This team includes a registered nurse and cardiologist with consultation to allied health care providers as appropriate.
- Dobutamine Stress Echo (DSE)
In order to diagnose certain heart conditions, some heart studies require that the heart be subjected to "stress" or exercise. This allows the cardiologist to evaluate the heart while it is working its hardest. The DSE was developed for people who are unable to exercise on a treadmill or stationary cycle as required using a more traditional stress echocardiogram.
- Transesophageal Echocardiogram
This is a test a cardiologist performs by inserting a flexible tube about the size of your index finger into your mouth and down your esophagus (feeding tube). This flexible tube takes pictures of your heart. These pictures show the doctor a clearer and closer look of your heart.
- MIBI (Myocardial Imaging Perfusion Scan)
This is a Nuclear Medicine test which provides us with a picture of the blood flow to the muscle of the heart at rest and during stress through the use of a camera.
MEDICAL DAY CARE
Services include Phlebotomy, Bone Marrow Aspiration, Lumbar Puncture, infusion of blood products and medication, and Interim care Services.

Clinic space is provided for outpatient assessments, treatments of new and/or recent injuries and follow up post surgeries.
