Masking Requirements will Continue at all Western Health Facilities

Aug 9, 2021

Western Health is advising that mask-wearing is still mandatory in all health care facilities, and congregate living settings, including personal care homes and long term care homes.

While masks will no longer mandated in other indoor public spaces as of August 10, masks are still strongly encouraged. It is important for everyone to continue to follow public health guidance to protect yourself, your loved ones, and your communities including getting vaccinated, washing your hands frequently and wearing masks where required.

COVID-19 vaccination continues to be available across the Western region. Individuals are also able to book their first or second dose of COVID-19 vaccine by clicking here or by calling 1-833-703-5470. In addiction when walk in appointments are available, Western Health is advertising the walk in clinics on social media.
