New Primary Care Clinic Established for Residents of Cox’s Cove and Area
Western Health is pleased to announce that the Cox's Cove Health Home has opened in its permanent location, 10 Country Road, Cox’s Cove. A Health Home is where you are attached as a patient to a Family Doctor or Nurse Practitioner and receive the majority of your Primary Care Services.
Established in October 2020, the Cox’s Cove Health Home provides Nurse Practitioner services to patients via virtual care (telephone/computer) 3 days per week, and in-person appointments 2 days per week. If you are already a patient of this Health Home, future in-person appointments will be provided at this location.
If you are a resident of Cox’s Cove and Area, are without a Primary Care Provider (Family Doctor or Nurse Practitioner), and are interested in becoming a patient of this clinic, you may make your request by calling the Cox’s Cove Health Home at 688-2848, or via our website www.westernhealth.nl.ca/healthneighbourhood (if requesting online, ensure you request the Cox’s Cove Health Home). Please have your MCP number available when you call and are attending any appointments.
