Mac/Apple Operating Systems
Due
to the various applications we present and vendor requirements, we can
only support these applications for a Mac using a remote Desktop
Session. The remote session requires that you have java installed on
your Mac device. Please use these instructions for the instalation of
Java on a Mac device.

- After the successful installation of java, login to our VPN site and login
- http:\\remote.westernhealth.nl.ca\doctor
- Login to the remote access site using your username and
passcode (Passcode is your PIN + current number on your RSA token that
you were assigned)
- Once you connect, you will need to click the "Terminal Services(RDP)" link on the left hand side of the screen
- look for an entry for "Remote Access for MAC"
- Clicking this entry will start up a remote desktop session in Java for you.
- Important !! you now have to use your assigned username and assigned windows password and not the Passcode you used above.
- Once this session opens you use the applications you normally have by clicking the required icons or looking under "Start/programs"
- You will have access to the following in this remote session.
Meditech -Use Meditech Credentials
Centricty Web - Use Pacs Credentials
Idoc - Use Idoc Credentials
NOTE :the remote desktop screen size is limited by Java and can not be adjusted.
