Visitor Restrictions Expanded at Western Memorial Regional Hospital

Jan 10, 2020

Please be advised that temporary visitor restrictions have been expanded throughout Western Memorial Regional Hospital. Exceptions may be made in extenuating circumstances. Immediate family members of patients are asked to call the unit directly to inquire about visitation.

Visitor restrictions are a series of infection control measures put in place to reduce the risk of spreading infectious diseases which are common in health care facilities. They are designed to help keep clients, families, staff and visitors healthy and safe.

To prevent the spread of infection, we ask the public to wash your hands when you enter or leave any of Western Health’s facilities. Western Health would like to thank the public for their co-operation during this precautionary measure.
