Visitor Restrictions Extended at Western Memorial Regional Hospital
Please be advised that temporary visitor restrictions are extended on the Medicine Unit at Western Memorial Regional Hospital.
Immediate family members of patients should call the unit for direction about visitation:
• Medicine Unit (3B), 637-5000 Ext. 5403 or 5404
• Medicine Unit (3A), 637-5000 Ext. 5401 or 5402
Visitor restrictions are a series of infection control measures put in place to reduce the risk of spreading infectious diseases which are common in health care facilities. They are designed to help keep clients, families, staff and visitors healthy and safe.
To prevent the spread of infection, we ask the public to wash your hands when you enter or leave any of Western Health’s facilities. Western Health would like to thank the public for their co-operation during this precautionary measure.
