The final day of the marathon for the communities of Deer Lake, Reidville, Cormack, and Hampden is Wednesday, August 11. Events are starting at 1:00 PM in Deer Lake at the Power House Field, and in Cormack at the Community Centre. Children are asked to return their tracking sheets on this day and receive their marathon t-shirt. All children are invited to participate in the Grand Finale. All children will receive a bib (similar to what is worn at a marathon) as we walk together for 1 km and then enjoy games and activities. For more information please contact Karen Tulk at 635-7856.
