Western Health would like to advise that the scheduled X-ray equipment installation for Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders will be delayed due to an unforeseen supplier issue. The X-ray equipment supplier experienced a delay in the delivery of some required materials and is unable to meet the original installation schedule.
Western Health would like to advise that the scheduled X-ray equipment installation for Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders will be delayed due to an unforeseen supplier issue. The X-ray equipment supplier experienced a delay in the delivery of some required materials and is unable to meet the original installation schedule.
Revised Installation Schedule is as follows:
March 5: Current X-ray Equipment Removal
March 15-19: New Equipment Delivery and Installation
March 23: New X-ray Equipment in Service
The current X-ray equipment will be used until it is removed on March 5 and service will not be closed any longer than originally anticipated.
While the new equipment is being installed, individuals requiring X-ray services or pre-admission for surgery are asked to travel to the Bonne Bay Health Centre. Western Health would like to ask for the public’s co-operation as we move toward improving the X-ray services to the people of Port Saunders, and surrounding communities.
