Seasonal Flu and H1N1 Vaccines Still Available - Jan 26, 2010

Western Health would like to remind residents of Western Newfoundland that people who have not yet had their seasonal flu shot and fit in priority groupings can still get their vaccination.
Western Health would like to remind residents of Western Newfoundland that people who have not yet had their seasonal flu shot and fit in priority groupings can still get their vaccination. These groupings include: Children 6 months to 23 months; people with Chronic Health concerns and their care providers, and people over 65 years of age.

Appointments can be made for next week, February 1 – 5th, 2010 by calling your local community health office.  

Western Health would also like to remind residents who have not yet received their H1N1 vaccine that this vaccine is available through their local Public Health office by scheduled appointments. Western Health encourages residents to avail of this service at this time.

Getting vaccinated is the single best way to protect yourself from the seasonal flu virus or the H1N1 flu virus.
