Wound and Skin Care

The Regional Wound & Skin Care Specialist provides expert suggestions on wound and skin related problems. The specialist focuses on issues in wound and skin care prevention, maintenance, and treatment and provides services to the Region in long term, acute care, and community health by working collaboratively with the members of the interdisciplinary team.

It is the job of the Regional Wound and Skin Care Specialist to help health care professionals provide the best care to their clients in the most financially responsible way.

The Regional Wound and Skin Care Specialist practices in five areas, these include: clinical practice, education, research, organizational leadership, and professional development.
